RV has this goofy R-L thing; and when someone (in this case, Dunn) is out of the lineup, he just puts the replacement in the same slot rather than move everyone else around.

I don't understand it either. Common sense suggests a guy such as 1B Paul Konerko or RF Alex Rios should bat 3rd instead of a journeyman like CF Dewayne Wise with DH/1B Adam Dunn still out with the oblique injury.

In case you're wondering why Alejandro De Aza is in LF again tonight, the Trib's Mark Gonzales says that De Aza is "more comfortable" in LF than CF with Wise still in there. Hmmm...

Again SHARK, Wise has been better than Konerko.

Why would you want a worse hitter batting 3rd?

I was referring to overall body of work. If it were up to me, De Aza & 2B Gordon Beckham would be #1, #2 with 3B Kevin Youkilis in an RBI slot with SS Alexei Ramirez batting 9th.
