Correct - expectations are adjusted as the years moves along. With about 12 or 13 games left, the White Sox had a 3 game lead in the division. Now, with 6 left, they trail by 2 games. Why should fans reset their expectations back to their spring training expectations? Fans should be mad that the White Sox were unable to finish the season successfully. It also doesn't have to be considered a historic, epic collapse for fans to be pissed either.
