After the embarrassment that was the Seattle playoff loss....I largely have. And yet one of the 4-5 NFL games I've watched this season was last Sunday night's thriller in the rain/muck.

College football is as good as its ever been. Pro ball (& even the environment around a pro game/tailgate) leaves me cold. It's being so watered down & drained of flavor, in 3-4 years I'll likely not watch at all.

That's really the thing of it for me. 5-10 years ago I was in the same boat. Now I watch prep/college ball almost exclusively. I rarely even turn on any NFL show (& had actually forgotten that there are hours & hours of pregame shows, until three weeks ago )

It's counter intuitive, because my football team won't ever be elite, and parity would really help them, but I can't help but watch football every Sunday and think that I'm simply watching a series of slightly weighted coin flips.
