But if they make the playoffs Lovie gets an extension and I think it is pretty clear that Lovie has shown us the best he can do at this point.

Bears have the tie break over them. Only way the Rams can make the playoffs is by going 3-0 and having the Bears go 0-3. Not to mention the fact that they have to also pick up a game on the Redskins and Cowboys with a tie breaker over both. Impossible. One more Bears win eliminates the Rams.

Put it this way. As of right now, a smart GM would know if he wants Lovie back or not. What happens the rest of the year is academic. Because beating the lowley Lions and/or Cardinals to make the playoffs shouldn't be the make or break factor. That would be small thinking.

Bears are currenly 3 point dogs against the Packers. They'll be favored by 3 or 4 at Arizona and they'll be 3 or 4 point dogs at Detroit. I know Detroit has a shit record but their offense is good enough to be favored in most home games. Certainly against the Bears. That team always has the capability to put up 28. Especially in that dome.

Redskins will be a pick at Cleveland if RGIII plays. Maybe even a slight dog. They'll be 4 or 5 point dogs if he doesn't play. Redskins will be 4 or 5 point favorites at Philadelphia. Redskins will be 3 point favorites at home against the Cowboys.

Browns are a very tough game for the Redskins in Cleveland with RGIII. I can't see them winning it without RGIII. That Browns defense is top 10. Their offense has been putting up points in recent weeks. And the Redskins defense is one of the worst in the NFL.

Bears have a 65% chance of making the playoffs. That sounds about right.

Yeah. That does sound about right. If you put one more Bears win into the math (Vs Arizona for sure) I'll bet it's 85%. They obviously didn't chalk up one more win for the Bears to get that 65%. I am. I think one more win gets them in.

Yeah. That's what I'm saying. 1-2 for the Redskins. Redskins lose this week at the Browns and the last game vs. the Cowboys. Cowboys will be eliminated by that last game but they'll play to destroy the Redskins dreams.

Bears will go into that last week needing a win over the Lions or a Redskins loss to get in. Bears could very well beat the Lions making the Redskins outcome meaningless. But they'll get in either way.
