Agreed. I don't think I've seen anyone better. He came up a month into the season and he leads the league in damn near every category. I thought Harper would be better because he's a Mormon and you wouldn't have to worry about the partying.

And Because Trout is top prospect and Jackson is not

And because having similiar numbers for a 1/6th of a season doesnt mean a whole lot

I like Trout if only because he's got more room for improvement

I wrote Trout while I meant to write Harper. Harper has more room for improvement.

I don't think its troubling. He hasn't had a walk in 6 games.

If its within a couple points at the end of the month, then its an issue.

IMU, at this point, considering everything each of the players have gone thru and where they stand right now today, the ceiling for Brett Jackson appears to be everyday player. The floor is Joe Borchard-- a bust of a draft pick. He appears a lot closer to Borchard than playing 150+ games a year.

The ceiling for Mike Trout is Hall of Fame, considering he already has one MVP type season.

Yes, I understand your point of Trout coming up to the Show in 2011 and not doing so well....but he was also only 19 years old then. Jackson is 24 and if anything has regressed since 2011.
