I thought to myself "what would I do if I had that hair?" And the answer was a resounding "DEALBREAKER MF'ER" !!!

Last year at Texas was my first (and only, so far) NASCAR race, and it was so freaking awesome!!! Had hoped to be there tonight, but it didn't work out. I have to say though, that once the NRA got the naming rights to tonight's race, I felt very uncomfortable about the idea of just being there. I know the race winner always receives pistols, but I'm just icked out by the whole thing, and as a 6th generation Texan, that confuses me. :?

Anyways...ready to be under the lights with y'all tonight!!

:D :drunken: :D

Why did the Mexicans have only 2,000 men at the Alamo?

Brad Keselowski is already my most hated driver. Anyone who can wear a Miller Lite jumpsuit must really suck.

30 minutes until the start of the race. All the drivers were given extra practice time this week with the new car at the track for the first time. The bumps in turn 1 still haven't been fixed and the short, Charlotte like backstretch will lead into 3 wide racing through turn 3 and 4.

Time for the Michael Waltrip walkthru of the starting grid. How very Formula 1` of you...

Contest winners and VIP's. They will clear the pit road after the invocation and National Anthem.

Shouldn't they do that alot earlier? I mean don't the drivers want more time with their pit crew and chief to talk last minute strategy or to just focus on driving?

The teams have spent so much time in the garage and on the track. It is time to go racing!! Pit crews next job will be the first pit stop to make adjustments. Track will cool with the nightfall and increase in speed. It is going to be crazy. This track has turned Atlanta fast in the new car. I can't wait until the Atlanta race either.

That was A LOT of planes in the flyover.

In a surprise NASCAR ruling, Logano's crew has to push his car around the track all night.
