I cannot remember ever seeing a picture where Sir isn't sporting a wide grin on his face. I guess these must have been taken during his era of pretending he was a sullen teenager to fit in with the cool kids.

I understand what DB is saying. He's saying that Rafer being the product of his dad, received an opportunity that he may have otherwise not gotten. My point is that the name is only a part of the equation.

Similarly, Karen Jordan also has a father who has been in the business for a long time. Of course she benefits from it, but I'm sure she also had to work her ass off to prove her ability to do the job.

The two battlin' midgets can go the hell away, and please take that clueless cow Karen Jordan to hell with them. We'll all be better off for it.

She may be Elvis shooting the tv worthy for me. "Work"-ed hard my ass. I don't think she has a single f-ing clue about anything in this city, nor any proof that she works hard at anything other than to get her bland ass into the cake/makeup chair on time.

Don't you dare talk about the lovely Karen Jordan like that. You lost your everlovin' mind, Reader?

I believe they have a history.

I find her pretty hot as well.

She doesn't bother me quite this much, but I'll always love a reference to E shooting the tv. Robert Goulet was his favorite target BTW.

No, I've just heard(& seen) her on air. Clueless & bland. Think generic ice cream.

She even helped me lose the tiny bit of respect I had for her dad. For her to note (while broadcasting the Bud Biliken parade covered by her dad for over 30 years) that she'd never heard of the parade question everything about her.

And then I've seen her broadcasts & clueless expressions for far, far too long.

It would take a lot of Jack for me to want to hit that.

A whole barrel maybe.

Karen Jordan's dad once posed for a picture with me holding my daughter,I was holding my son. He was a very nice man and I love his daughter. She does a solid job and I find her easy on the eyes.

Are you Dan Bernstein?

I've identified at least 2, possibly 3, different kids in this story.

It's not the most prestigious public school and even though I know you're partially joking, you're very wrong.

I was made to believe by many that H-F was the New Trier of the Southland.

Bob Jordan once interviewed me after I was released on bond.

I thought he did a solid job also.

If Russ Ewing walked you into the station, you've got a nice little Brush-with-Fame bookender there.

It is a great story.

But I was released on an I bond. After the cop pocketed the bond money at the corner of Monroe-Racine.

Rafer seems like a good dude. Being a TV person he would not have an opportunity to grind his axe against LoHo on the air. I admit Rafer's acting career was weak, but LoHo will never be in a movie.

dude, did you miss the part where i said that laurence posted this pic a couple'a hours after the wafer reigel drama?

Just found my HF IDs: 91 looks like a mug shot, but in 90 my hair was on point! #HF220 #TBT http://instagram.com/p/edFZkDMfK6/

he's right that there's a mugshot vibe.... but like, i found it hilarious cuz it's basically a reminder to rafer and the world that laurence didn't grow up with his pops' name being currency in terms of getting that cushy chi sportscasting gig.... he had to come up on his own and make it, and hey, i know we have our thoughts about laurence and this and that.... but you've gotta respect the dude cuz no matter what you think about him, he made it. laurence put in the work and the time and he's earned whatever he's got going on these days; respect due.

but yeah, that friendly lil reminder that laurence wasn't always the nerd that we think he is.... especially at that time? hat's off to loho... he's got the right to flaunt it cuz no matter what any of us say the brother made it.

Big Deal! Rafer co-starred in a movie with Captain Kirk! Rafer wins.
