The Royals were eliminated last night. It would be nice if Dunn, De Aza and Alexei didn't see the field all weekend and they give Lindstrom and Nate Jones a much deserved early off saeson.

It would be nice if they could beat the Indians once in a while and didn't lose 55 road games over the course of the season. 5 wins in September. This team is fucking brutal.

Sounds like a challenge Dale Svuem would be up for.

Not Jeff Manto and his imaginary hitting metrics!

They should probably fire Ventura, but is he one of Weird Jerry's sons, too?

Clearing a spot to bring Paulie back as player-coach.

They will cite the strong finish for not making changes. "we won two out of the last three!."

It took me twenty minutes to get inside again. Half the stands weren't open. I paid more than twice as much for my ticket last January than a guy who walked up last night. These are just some of my notes for when the goof calls to ask me about next season's tickets. The Sox are the biggest nickel and dime organization in the world and yet, they don't think I should nickel and dime them.

I decided on Saturday afternoon to catch a last game for the season that night. I figured I'd buy from a scalper on the street. He wanted $40 for 4 tickets. I told him $32. For some reason he counteroffered at $30. Finally he said he didn't have time to haggle and gave me $80 back in change from $100. I imagine that is kind of like what it is to be a Sox ticket agent these days.

That seriously may have been the longest homer Ive ever seen live. I saw Sosa hit the camera well, a huge Bonds shot over here, a big one by Thome, a Kittle roof shot, and the Borchard homer, but that was something else. Awaiting official measurements from Frank and IMU.

One would think they'd learn that in Traveling All-Stars.

From ESPN Home Run Tracker it was 443 ' currently 30th longest home run this year. The leader is Giancarlo Stanton at 484'

Yeah that was....something. It was like he was blindfolded and had his legs tied together.

Losing 3 out of 4 to the worst teams in baseball was not the way to end that homestand.
