I hope that I can never answer that question.

really the only difference between orange juice and coke is that the OJ has vitamin C , so there is at least some benefit...but you're right the calories and sugar are pretty much the same

We can agree to that, but I cannot agree that the miracle somehow means that in our current culture social drinking is an acceptable practice for Christians.

I think that people who think that Hell is a party are very confused about what the place is exactly or what goes on there.

Please define social drinking.

And then let me know why you think that it was acceptable for Jews 2000 years ago, but is currently unacceptable.

If alcohol is bad, wouldn't the devil be serving it up?

It's a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth with eternal torment and flames. Each person's torment is entirely personal meaning it's not like you see your buddies down there and have a good time. It's been described by some as a very dark and cold place place with the absence of all things good. This is a big contrast with what goes on in heaven.

"There is wailing and grinding of teeth"

Now, can I be told why bigfan and Bernstein get to drink, but I'm not allowed to?

How are you supposed to tell someone who is an alcoholic that it's okay for you to drink, but not him?

Tell me what the scripture says after Jesus turns water into wine for human consumption.

Is MD's latest marketing gig with a fundamentalist church? Can we expect threads like "Favorite Verse from Luke" in the near future?

I'm drinking Old Style with my buddies and we're at a Cubs playoff game that they win. That would be hell for me.
