Sorry combined the two. Cha-ching for Revis and WTF was for Ware.

As a 49ers fan, neither trade excites me. They really need a backup QB, but Gabbert isn't the answer. Need someone alot better than that. As for Martin, I know Jim coached him in college, but you can't have him on the roster. The 49ers pride themselves on being a tough team, and Martin is far from that.

I'd be fairly excited to have a QB with 1st-rd talent that will finally have a real coach working with him. Especially as a back up.

I'm shocked that McCown is the first Bears player to sign with the Bucs. How bad is the Tillman injury? Did Lovie like him? What about Hester?

The Jets are officially a bigger laughing stock than the Raiders now. I don't mean because of the Decker signing, just in general. They can't do anything besides fleece the Bucs.

That was an awful trade. Why would they structure a contract that way? If you were worried about his injury then don't make the deal.

Decker's career is officially over now. I'm sure he'll have fun fruitlessly running routes and playing defensive back from time to time.

Next time we hear his name will be when they cut him in 3 years for underproduction.

Verner is a MUCH better opportunity for them at CB.

I think now they have to bargain basement with Peanut. If that is true, there is no reason for him to leave the Bears. I would be happy to have him back.

another smart Patriot move. They upgrade from Talib in both production and character while only having to pay out on a one year contract.

And then Revis can still get HUGE long-term $$ from the Jets or Raiders next year.

Chip Kelley has landed Sproles for a 5th round pick.

Gabbert is fine as a backup QB & he will finally get some real coaching & improve. I like Harbaugh trading for Martin. Nothing wrong with having some loyalty for your guys. This will probably be the best thing that could happen to Martin. Like a lot of tough guys, Harbough does have a soft side.

interesting. If there is anyone who will figure out how to put Mc Coy and Sproles in the same backfield, it is Kelly

Before Martin had his troubles, he was a starting OT in this league. If he plays hard, he is still a starting OT talent and still young. They got that for a low round draft pick.

So the Raiders have buyer's remorse about signing Rodger Saffold over Jared Veldheer, so they go the "failed physical" route? Ugh.

Don't think it was a need but a way to cause headaches for defenses. If he has anything left then indeed this can be an even scarier offense than last year.

Yeah I think in Kelly's mind there is no way to have too many offensive weapons, even if the defense suffers because of it

So Shady doesn't have to play 870 snaps again next season.

I told you guys 3 or 4 years ago that there would be an influx of college head coaches into the NFL who would be successful & that the way NFL football is played would change & the league would be better for it. The NFL now mimics the college game which is a more exciting version of football in my opinion. Sproles to the E A G A L E S is a natural fit & makes complete sense. Philly was my favorite team to watch last year & I cant imagine how fast & explosive they will be this year.
