That's mostly true, but I think the Bulls lack of talent is overstated. They are a talented team. They just don't have a superstar scorer so it doesn't seem like it.

Well, I don't know. I've never liked Brooks, and many smart basketball people have criticized him for years. Some of the lineups he was playing against Miami a couple years ago were just inexplicable. But continuity is a really underrated part of coaching success in the NBA, and I think Presti is worried about shaking up the team too much. But really, that's a weak reason to keep a coach who might be holding back the team from a title. I just can't think of a real reason to keep Brooks other than that.
