If Mac leaves for another station you'll get to hear Larry tee off on him.

As long as it's reciprocated, since that would be far more entertaining.

Fake laugh again over Tulo. I am playing Bingo for sure today.

Yup. As if confirmation that his numbers are ridiculous merits a deep belly-laugh. Nails on a chalkboard.

Probably. We're free to take off days whenever. During tax season, it's frowned upon, but usually you put in Sunday time to offset any Jan-April vacation days. I had to go to Arizona last February for a wedding. That's the only time I've taken off during a tax season in my eight years here. Otherwise, take off anytime.

That's my point. Important work dates really shouldn't be missed. You can if you really needed to. If I really needed to I can as well.

This is really more of a complaint of management though as Mitch let his bellcow take the day off and subbed him with Larry. So now we've been treated to awful baseball talk the 1st hour and incessant hyena cackling on the most important sports day of Spring.

He should go with this:

Yes, I know Belize is not Bermuda. I just think it's neat. Plus, it goes well with the Boers & Bernstein celebration of pantslessness.

There's so much I hate about Leary - the fake laugh is on the top of the list for sure - but its the way he tries to come off as an authority on everything and tries to emulate Bernstein, that really gets me reaching for the dial. Only an insecure ego-maniac like him would coin a phrase like "The Holmes Plan", or start his show with "The Starting Lineup" so he can remind everyone that he went to DePaul and thus he's better than everyone else working with him. This same twisted mind of his is obviously came up with "The A-Team" so he has a chance to downplay and demean the various subs he gets. What a sick fuck this guy is.

Leary is the only person I know that could take all the talk away from Grimace on this show.

FYI -- Kaplan and Haugh have had a pretty good show so far today with guests like Wayne Larivee and Rodney Harrison. Dino Ciccarelli is coming up at 11:30.

The best thing about their show is that neither Holmes nor Spiegel are part of it.

Something involving females, chloroform, and being berried up to your neck.

I believe it involves a rag, chloroform and a 1970's van parked in idle at the exit of NBC 5 studios after the 10 pm broadcast

Oh God, Q messing with lines again in practice. I can't even express how much I despise his coaching style. I almost blew a gasket when he said he wanted to play a defensive game with Minnesota during game 3. Why would you want a taffy pull with a team that has a crappy goalie, less depth, and much less skill? Wouldn't you want an end to end game where your skill and depth would outshine them? In addition, they should be more worn down given their series with the Av's.

Q, you piss me off.

True, but given the alternative it's not too bad.

Shouldn't surprise me seeing that pic of Larry and what'shername. He's definitely one of those guys who's always high-fiving hot chicks just so he can make skin-to-skin contact with them, of even the most harmless kind. I USED TO have a buddy like that who would high-five half a dozen girls every time we'd go out to a bar, and do it multiple times with each girl for the flimsiest of reasons. He never got their numbers, or took them home, but he continued with it each and every time we went out. Seeing that pic of Larry reminded me of that royal douche bag.

Larry's is an odd dude. But I have to say, that chick sure seems to enjoy playing along. So in this case, I think it is smart of Larry to pursue.
