I don't think it really matters. They can't afford for him to be found guilty of anything and sent to prison. Worst thing that happens is he is quietly dishonorably discharged without trial.

That is a key. If he is not found to be AWOL or dishonorable he will get time in service promotions and all the back pay while there. Also retirement points for pension.

They can hear a person's heartbeat through a brick wall from space, so I am more than sure they debriefed and followed all who really knew what this dude was on.

Something's cooking here, and it is likely in the "look over here, while we do something else over there!" category.


Normally I would agree with you but there has been a lot of elementary incompetence from this administration. I thought it could have been part of the president's plan to get rid of all the prisoners but now I just believe they fucked up AGAIN.
