Pack then go up 21-0, Bears get 1 first down and then punt again.

Cutler had several chances to take control of the game and at least give the Bears a chance by answering some of GBs scores and he could not do it. It was the same thing in New England, Nas. Cutler couldn't do anything right. No points to even help keep the game close. He cannot be defended anymore, Nas. You are attempting to defend the indefensible.

I think he's checked out. He's complained publicly about the play calling and he knows he can't call the defense out.

Nobody is doing that. Stop making things up. People are asking him to play like a franchise QB. Nobody here is saying he should have this team sitting at 8-1 and scoring 48 ppg.

Scoring 14, 14, and 7-- which is what Cutler has scored with the offense his last three games-- certainly is nowhere near good enough.

I wonder how much tension the crappy returns have created within the offense. If I'm Cutler, am I ripping Joe D and/or Trestman about the return guy taking out a kick 8 yards deep in the end zone? Clearly Williams has been given the green light to take it out regardless. So maybe Cutler should say if the coaching staff isn't going to help him with starting field position, then Cutler should just call his own plays and defy Trestman. Who knows, maybe that's already happening.

I agree. Ultimately scoring a few more touchdowns wouldn't have made a difference. Trestman is responsible for the predictable play calling. When we attack Cutler we are letting him off the hook. Once the league took away his deep passes by playing Cover 3 he hasn't been able to adjust.

Trestman's biggest problem seems to be that he is relying on Cutler to make plays for him, which obviously you can't put any of the blame on Jay Cutler for.
