Didn't Greg Schiano come in and not only destroy an ok team but also give the entire team a staph infection? I feel like that's worse than what Trestman has done so far.

The Bucs have a pirate ship and a Super Bowl in this millenium. Much better organization.

Maybe I need to get Frank in here to explain to you that we are currently discussing if Trestman is the worst coaching hire ever.

Finishing over .500 last year guarantees that wont be the case.

I agree that its really bad though
He inherited a 10-6 team and absolutely destroyed it in a little over one calendar year and likely will be fired after his second year.

Yep.

Im just saying there are guys who have been worse.

Record wise there certainly is but I'd be interested to know if any coach inherited a ten win team and was fired two years later.

Trestman may need his own category.

He's like the guy who is born on third base and then goes back to second base illegally, but being born on a base is also probably illegal.

Josh McDaniels took over for Shanahan who just went 8-8.

McDaniels went 8-8, then 3-9 and got fired after 12 games.

And that was just an 8 win team.

All that limp dick did was bring in former Gators. Awful ones, at that. Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerffel, Jacquez Green, etc. Please don't ever bring this up again. I had forgotten about it.

Why can't your quarterback get along with anyone and why does he want to throw his teammates under the bus? Gruden was fucking pissed the other day.

The Broncos fired Dan Reeves after going 8-8 and hired Wade Phillips.

Phillips went 9-7, 7-9 and then got fired for losing control of the team.

Shanahan came in and won 21 games the next 2 years.

Thanks. Interesting stuff.

Keep going.

I think that's about it. It's hard to find a list of coaches that were fired after winning records.

I wish I knew. He's definitely worn out his welcome. I believe RGIII's contract is up next here, at which point the team (hopefully sooner) will be finding his replacement. I have a hard time believing there is a worse NFL organization than Washington. Maybe Oakland, but that's it.

RG triple sticks is done in DC. He will most likely end up being a journeyman backup QB. Funny how RGlll, Cam, Colin, all were really good early in their careers but are now struggling. Perhaps the zone read doesn't translate all that well to the NFL, although the Niners don't run it much anymore.

I'd trade a 6th round pick for him.

Ha. At least the jerseys didn't cost much. And the dog is awesome, regardless of the fact he's named after an asshole.

how people keep missing the fact that option QB's have a short lifespan in the NFL i have no idea. it's like they don't want to believe it. it'll happen to jameis winston too.

cam seems to be vince younging while griffin has already burned himself out. same with geno smith.

Cam's been hurt all year. He's miles better right now than Vince Young ever was. I dont think he's going anywhere.
