The problem is that people instead compare a hungry man frozen dinner with whole grain rice, kale, and skinless chicken.

Good question. I would say that methods differ from company to company, but in most cases frozen veggies are better than "fresh". (vitamin loss in fresh due to shipping time) Nowadays they use a flash-freezing method...from ground to freezer in just a couple of hours.

You said I was wrong that processed food isn't bad for you. Now, your point is that it is in general worse than fresh food which means my statement was accurate. There is good processed food and bad processed food.

All you have to do is read the whole post. There is a reason you omitted the rest.

It doesn't matter IF a food was processed. It matters HOW it was processed. Dark chocolate is a great processed food. Fruit gushers are not. Just like it matters if your chicken is cooked in a light olive oil or deep fried.

Even saying there are good ones and bad ones speaks to you focusing on the food and not the processing.

You do know that many processed foods don't have those things right? Just view those things as ingredients. In many cases, chicken is cooked in canola oil. It doesn't mean that chicken is bad for you. It means that preparing the chicken in that way is bad for you.

actually the hostess one has high fructose corn syrup, not sugar . edit: it has both !

it also has beef fat

and 51 ingredients total
