Eagles camp said he was much improved at throwing. And he can run.

For the life of me, I will never understand the Tim Tebow thing. Do you realize what you're saying? You just said that a guy you want at QB was "much improved at throwing." If you can't naturally throw well, you're probably not an NFL QB.

First rule of thumb...don't take QB advice from someone who thinks Dan Fouts is an all time great.

Fouts was a great system QB...a lot like Warren Moon...who I would also rather have than Dan Fouts.

I doubt the Bears signs Tebow or some other guy, so the point is moot. Bears will be like Mulligan on the air saying "Well, we have to play Clausen now, because there's no other choice."

For an organization that traded Cutler for two 1st rounders and Orton, and then gave Cutler the $100 million extension, while giving Urlacher the finger, never believe that the Bears will ever think on their feet or ever do the right thing regarding personnel.

Dude, it doesn't matter. The Bears are awful. Even if they were "wrong", who cares? Are you really holding out hope for a SB run this year?

It must just eat you alive that Da Coach is fond of Tebow. Yeah, he knows something about good football players, not those two idiots on the morning radio.

Wrong. If he pulled a hamstring, he can't move. That means he can't play.

Coward, he didn't even let me respond, cut me off right away. Otherwise, Mully would have taken a pounding, just like I give to Bernstein when he's wrong.

If I had the chance to interject that Ditka has always been high on Tebow, it would have been over for poor Mully. He would have gone to a commercial with his tail between his legs.

Might have lost the battle today but not the war. Let all the Score listeners today and the rest of this week call up and ask for Tebow, citing Ditka. They won't know what to fucking do.

Ridiculous.

You start your backup QB and, perhaps, eventually Fales if Cutler is out for an extended period and Clausen doesn't look good.

There aren't enough starting caliber QB's to go around the league; very few teams have backup QB's who can provide decent production when a starter is out.

When a starting QB is injured, in most cases, that team is going down the drain. If the solution is to sign a QB off the street, or fire the GM, that's idiotic.

Pace doesn't deserve to be in his job if he thought Clausen was any good to begin with. But this is material for the "Fire Ryan Pace" thread.

For next week, there isn't a choice. For Week 4, there could be another option (Fales/Cutler) depending on the injury news and the performance in Week 3.

I heard the call. He gave you plenty of time to make your point. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't care what Ditka thinks.

Anyway, you should call the afternoon show and see what they think.

This is just stupid. Ditka wasn't even the best coach on the 85 staff.

DignifiedReardon, Ditka is only relevant in this town because middle aged meatballs like yourself hold him in any regard.

His thoughts on ESPN might be the worst of the bunch, which is truly a feat considering who his partners are.

I hope Jay is done for the year.

Start Fales & see what he's got. They already know what Claussen is & isn't.
