Also, WHO said "processed meats" are what 'could' increase the risk of cancer, by 18%.

They did not commit to a stance on steaks besides 'probably carcinogenic.' Which means soybean farmers paid them off.

I probably had some form of red meat nearly everyday. Typically if we had hamburgers, I would eat two. Chili on Sundays for football. Steak regularly on business trips or at dinner.

I cut down on portions, started using ground turkey and chicken for things like chili and burgers.

I purposely avoided the pills. The nice side benefit to reducing intake was the immediate weight loss.

Working an office job is more likely to kill you than meat, maybe, I pretty much just made that up, but it is probably true.

I'm on the caveman diet now. I only eat what I kill and I don't shower except when I find a lake.

The study was a study based off 800 other studies. The processed meat thing was bases on chemicals used to form and preserve the meat. The study even said that you still need meat in your diet and a lot of issues arise from the way the meat is cooked.

Lots of scary stuff being bandied about.
