You keep saying this. McClellan has playes many many sundays, and even knocked Rodgers out on a Mobday. That doesn't mean he was a good pick.

I'll keep saying it. Anyone with a brain can conclude I'm not referring to Shae McClellan.

Bears have historically ruined first round picks. We get a new GM and he does the same thing. You cannot build a good team screwing up first round picks.

We have to wait until White plays, which is annoying.

Goldman is probably the best player on the defense other than McPhee, so you have to give Pace a couple of decent grades there. One for a decent FA signing and another for a good 2nd rounder.

Grasu needs a full year of NFL steroids to play. We were told this going in, we'll find out next year.

Langford looks fine when he plays.

Amos made a play I think.

The last guy whatever.

------

So far it's decent for the Bears sexy new GM. Not great but I'd still eat whipped cream out of his ass.

I'm not saying Fire Pace. All I'm saying is at stands he has an F. We may start next season and White plays like a #7 overall pick. Just have to go off of what the current state is and it right now it's bad.

Credit given for dumping Allen and Bostic....good moves.

1- Kevin White - incomplete
2- Eddie Goldman - A
3- Hroniss Grasu - incomplete/B-
4- Jeremy Langford - A+
5- Adrian Amos - A+
6- Tayo Fabuluje - incomplete/F

It still kind of rides on what Kevin White can do next year, but damn that's a great draft from the looks of it.

If White is the player they expect him to be then that becomes the best Bears draft in years.

As I've said before....if White turns out to be the second coming of Randy Moss next year, I'll revise Pace's grade. Until then, he still has a #7 pick not playing football.

Well Langford has been putting up 150 + yards from scrimmage in his starts, including against one of the best DL's in the league. When you apparently replace Matt Forte right away with a 4th rounder that's pretty good!

I'm not the biggest PFF guy in the world, but they have Amos ranked as the 5th best rookie overall and as a top 10 safety. He's given up an absurdly low number of completion, like below 5 on the year. If that's not an A+ pick for a rookie 5th rounder I dont know what is.

This is correct.

Even though you have to get all the way down to Marcus Peters at 18 or Bud Dupree at 22 before you find a player that (1) has been really good and (2) is at a position the Bears could really use. The good news about Kevin White is Vic Beasley and Trae Waynes haven't been able to see the field either, and not for injury reasons.

Langford has 65 career rushing attempts, has a 3.5 ypc, and has played in 9 games. Yes, giving him an A+ so far deserves to be laughed at.

Giving Langford and Amos an A+ at this point is laughable.

Just as laughable as giving Pace an F so far.

A year from now we'll see what's up for real.

I did.

Let's not mistake a final grade for a current grade. I'll be the first person to join the Pace ALS if White plays and is a stud. Since Game 1 of the season today, there's a #7 overall pick not playing...THAT's. UNACCEPTABLE.

Injuries happen. Unfortunately it was to the #1 draft pick this season. That does not mean this was a bad or a wrong pick.

Pace cannot control injuries. Is it his fault that Forte has been out with an injury? Obviously not. The same holds true with White.

There is no grade yet for Pace on the White pick. It is an incomplete. The grade will be evident in the future. Could be an F. Could be an A.

If you are grading Langford on his performance to date, he should get an A. He has been outstanding.

Would you be happy if he finished his Bears career with a 3.5 ypc average?

Obviously not. But his receiving work has more than made up for that.

I would say a solid B right now on Langford.

To be clear, I think Langford has a lot of talent, and a great shot to be a worthy successor to Forte. But it's impossible to give him an A+ thus far unless you have very low standards. Todd Gurley gets an A+.

The most impressive stat that is not counted is Langford's ability and willingness to stone blitzers.
It's the hardest part of being a rookie in the NFL and he has excelled at it.

Anyone can pick a stat & use it to slant your side of an argument. You need to take all of a players stats into consideration when evaluating a player.

For example, Eddie Lacy has a YPC of 3.7. which is .2 better than Langford. Bishop fucking Sankey has a 4.0 YPC. Ka'Deem Cary has a 4.0.

Langford's overall body of work & his stats are great. 435 yards & 5 TD's in basically 3 games is just ridiculous.

lets not go to crazy on Langford: even in these two games he has started he only has a 3.8 YPC. His receiving has been great. Still, people are talking as if he is the best back on this team right now.

That's simply false, no matter how many times you keep stating it, and those stats are from 9 games, not basically 3.

I would say Langford proved he can be tough and can receive a pass and seems fast as well. Forte's successor must do better than 3.5 YPC though.

http://www.nfl.com/player/jeremylangford/2552379/gamelogs

Langford had 65 yards & 1 TD in the first 6 games.

He has 370 yards & 4 TD's in the last 3 games.

Where I come from, that is a pretty damn good stretch of 3 games.
