I have no idea if he will be a good head coach. I simply laid out a case to interview him for that job based on what he did this year. And a number of NFL teams agree with me.

Exactly, and this makes him attractive to other teams. Really pretty simple. He has done an excellent job as a coordinator. No one will know if that translates to an HC position until he is given that chance.

This is news. Bernstein, on the other hand, has been saying for a while now Gase is gone after this year. Good for the Bears if he stays. Cutler shouldn't have to work with yet another offensive coordinator when the Bears offensively should be better next year, that is, if they can fix their O-line problems.
