Should have just kept him and lost him after next year. Better cap senerio that way. Cuz now you got Lopez on the books at 13 million for 3 years.

I don't get this move. If you were just getting back garbage, then keep him and lose him next year. So what if it's for nothing. Cuz that's what you basically got anyway.

You're imagining things. Most people loved Noah and liked Gasol. There was definitely a lot of Rose hate and IIRC you lost faith in him just like I did. It wasn't long ago that I said "Derrick Rose at 80% is better than Kyrie."

Because they want to be bad now... Why go through another season of a win total right below 40? This gets you closer to a better draft pick.

Rusty Rose or something to that effect is what I remember. There weren't many defending Noah last season. You did and so did I. There weren't many others. If they did then they were in the silent majority. His injury wasn't considered to be a significant loss.

WIth the way that drafts are now if it isn't in the top 2 then you are pretty much guaranteed to have a shitty team for years. Next year's draft should be much better and maybe that is what Garpax is banking on. Jayson Tatum is big time and so are some other guys that are sure to come out. I can remember the now departed Big Fan dissing Tatum and stating that Thon Maker is the guy to watch. He couldn't be anymore wrong in that assessment.

I'm not sure. Maybe Boston is still an option or the Lakers. If the team doesn't add some good players they're going to kill Butler's trade value.

I'm all for the plan but the "plan" can be Tyrus Thomas or it can be Derrick Rose. To me any long term plan has to involve trading Jimmy Butler.
