I know this is a poor time to do it but yet another example of how Cubs fans didn't embrace the "lovable losers" thing.

Also, I was at a resort that didn't have FS1 in the room so the bar was packed. A female Cubs fan was wearing a 1908 Cubs shirt and a Cubs hat.

But, as I was told, the Cubs fans never embraced the "lovable losers" thing.

That there are a lot of turdy Cub fans (and sports fans in general). Some fans make me cringe with how corny they are; it doesn't really affect me, though. I honestly find the Bears fan base to be way more ridiculous than the Cubs'. That's just me.

mac wanted them to blast "rock you like a hurricane".

i tried to call in a WYC about that when he wrote a piece about how unruly flyers fans were back in 2010 when the blackhawks clinched the stanley cup. but it was rejected because mac "wasn't on the score at that time".
