My Dad died last evening. You guys wouldn't have liked him anyway - he was a Cardinals fan.

Me thinks he was good man, and am sorry to hear of his passing. Rarely is Franky T far from a good thought and thoughts, or the ability to articulate a thought, are a learned trait from someone close. While I am not a Cardinal fan, the banter would have been fun.

Why is that a complaint?

Hey, wait, I've got a new complaint. There's a Korean couple that runs the Mobil on Dempster and Crawford where I occasionally buy my papers. The wife is okay but the husband is a rude cocksucker. He never smiles or greets a customer. So today I was buying a Tribune and I gave the guy a twenty. There was no verbal communication with this asshole. He just started slowly making my change. Counting out the three singles seemed like a major operation. I was getting pretty agitated, so after he put the bills through the slot I just stood there. He was looking at me like, "What the fuck?" And I said, "The paper is a buck ninety-nine. You forgot my penny." Fuck him.

 It only took him about a minute each to get the ten and the five out of the drawer. He got really slow when it came to counting the singles.

Tomorrow you should go in there and pay for the paper with 199 pennies.

Or just to fuck with him and be a bigger ass, 198.

My real complaint is that the Pakistani convenient store at Kedzie and Touhy that is a short walk from my house no longer carries newspapers. I guess I may have been the only guy who bought them.

Pulaski

I used to love back in the day when the bus drivers would call out the stops and they would yell, "Pulaski-Crawford!". You're probably too young to remember this, but one of the last electric buses ran on Pulaski on a trolley system where they had antennae that hooked to wires above the street like this:

Remember,Hell I rode that bus! Pulaski & North Ave. is where families went to shop. We had Walgreens across the street from Woolworths. Across the street was Pioneer Bank with that record shop around the corner on Pulaski. We had Crawford's clothing on North ave. with the Hot Dog vendor outside there. we had the Tiffin movie theater and the malt shop next to that.

Because I couldn't stand looking at her scrawny horse faced person, only to realize that she was a further detraction once she mindlessly opened her mouth.

She's clueless about sports (especially on an NBA show), she's got no tangible personality that's appealing, and she fails miserably as eye candy.

For the record I publically posted years ago to Spmack how I didn't like her. Nothing has changed my mind
