I was going to drink a Bourbon County last night, and the bottle I grabbed out of the fridge had a damaged cap that was partially opened. Beer was flat and undrinkable. That was some bullshit...

Going to a memorial for a baby of a close friend. One of the worst things anyone can experience. Especially when it's your first child.

Had to do something like this for a friend of my wife a few years ago and it was honestly one of the toughest things we've ever done. They had an open casket as well. Jesus life isn't fair sometimes.

I was the victim of a hate crime today.

This Asian guy parked himself next to me at the Golf Center of Des Plaines. He promptly appropriated the chair from my station under the guise of changing his shoes. Then this fuck marks his territory by moving the chair closer to his bag and placing his coat on it. Not a big deal as I wasn't going to be there long, but still..

He proceeds to head over to this group of Asians ohhing and ahhing over some goof hitting 250/260 yard drives. They all start bowing to each other.

Why the fuck didn't this guy bow to me before taking the chair?

They had her cremated. There is literally nothing you can say to someone that's lost a baby. When you are in you late 30's you may not have many more chances to have a child. It makes you question a lot. I had to go by myself because Lady Nas is pregnant. Didn’t think that would be helpful.

We went after we had our first born,my son. The wife kept on questioning things and wondering about our kid. The girl that passed was sick right off the bat and doctors gave her almost no chance to live past 6 months. She lived 2 years almost. I wouldnt wish that type of pain on my worst enemy. Take it easy tonight Nas.

I had to meet with a broker today who sends us a lot of business. Normally, one of our sales drones like IMU would meet with this guy and kiss his ass and offer him things. However, I was enlisted to go through his numbers and explain to him that the shit he sends us isn't profitable (primarily because of him) and that we're done with him.

So anyway, I talk to the guy for a couple hours and basically wish him well and tell him we don't want any of his new business.

He's an eccentric guy and I felt kinda bad after our meeting, so I asked him if he wanted to go grab a beer and talk about anything but business for a few minutes. He gets really excited and says "that'd be okay, but it would be great if you could get me Bulls tickets instead."

WTF? I'm pretty sure he didn't understand anything we discussed.

Maybe that's the only way Daily Herald Bulls beat reporters can get into games to do their jobs.

My dog is being annoying as hell. My wife goes to bed and the dog goes and lays down in front of the TV and whines and whines. What about? I have no idea. It takes about a half hour to get her to calm down and go lay down somewhere else. I've investigated around the TV... there's nothing of interest around. Annoying. I wish Eddie Murphy was here to tell me what the issue is.

Who the blue hell wants Bulls tix instead of beer? And that's me asking that.

Time for dishwashers apparently is not the same as regular time. For example, if you emptied a dishwasher after dinner on Tuesday night, and then emptied that same dishwasher after dinner on Thursday night, I would expect that to be considered two days. Wrong. It is one day. Gentlemen, please learn from my experience in this matter.

Unload the dishes, and keep your mouth shut. Pick your battles, man.

Tax returns loose their luster when you owe. I know I know, should never happen and generally it doesn't for us. But we had a situation in the middle of last year where we had to dip into an IRA :( Between a sick pet last weekend and this news, it has been a damn expensive stretch of days.

Money Isn't Everything.
Yeah, Right.

Yeah, Right.

If it makes you feel better it is always better to owe taxes on your return. Otherwise you gave the government a free loan.

I would much rather give the Gubment a free loan than have my account a few hundred dollars lighter.

I always owe to the state and get a little back on Federal. I'm with Rick though, when my return is minimal I know that I didn't pay extra throughout the year.

That's great for you one-percenters. Suze Orman, Boilermaker Rick, Hank Scorpio, Warren Buffet, and denisdman all want to pay just enough during the year so that their return is as close to even as possible. The working man counts on a fat refund check so he can take his wife to Wisconsin Dells for the weekend. God knows he's not capable of saving that money on his own.

Parked my car in an empty parking lot in Beverly and came out 5 mins later and it had been towed all the way out to Harvey. After spending $20 on a Lyft and $218.50 for the tow I am really thinking about flattening the tires of the store owner.
