I've seen enough.

I'm sending an email to Aunt Ginny's assistant as we speak.

Some of the penalties last night were pretty weak. The lack of discipline with the false starts and players being out of position is not acceptable. 5th string LB's...OR NOT.

I liked the "go for it, no wait call a time out, now lets punt, no wait get the punter off the field, go for it, laugh at the delay of game, and punt anyway" bit in the 1st quarter yesterday.

Agreed. Tell her Dowell Loggains can go with him and that Tanner Gentry can be Adam Thelein

THat was pathetic. High schools do a better job of managing things than that mess.

he also had to call a timeout immediately after a Minnesota timeout early in the 3rd quarter because the bear didnt have the right defensive personnel on the field.

Fox blamed it on a late ball spot. What a dope.

It was easy to see that coming the day they hired him.

What the fuck does it matter when or where the ball is spotted if you can't get the right people on the field?

I really don't care if Fox goes, but all the problems the team has right now are directly the problem of Ryan Pace and his "brain drain" of the WR position on this team.

Really? The lack of WR's was causing Glennon to fumble the ball? What about the linebacker injuries...how are the WRs causing those? I suppose maybe a WR is holding the ball causing Barth to miss field goals too huh?

Fucking genius.

Well, Glennon moving forward isn't an issue. So who cares. What I see now, is a young QB, that looks pretty darn good..behind a good(not great) offensive line..with a nice running back, and literally nobody to throw the ball deep too.

The linebacker issue last night was an anomaly, they will get Travethan and the polish guy back soon. The defense is decent(but please get a turnover). If this team had a play maker on the outside, circumstances would be much better.

That said, I don't understand why you are on your rag.....I mean, I'm ready to can Fox too.

This was one of those moments where Ryan Pace should have gone down on the field right away in the middle of the damn game and said, "John.....you're fired".

Seriously, the best part about Fox is that he has a proper coaching circle and can get coordinators/assistants young and old who are capable of getting a head coaching job after one 6-10 season as a coordinator here.

This is of paramount importance coming off of the Marx Trestman era where that goofy football autist had fucked off to Canada for ~5yrs AFTER he managed to not make a bunch of friends/allies in his various gigs around the NFL. I remember that Mel Tucker was SO bad that (when it was his turn to be the scapegoat) I heard someone on Bears All Access say "you hire Mel Tucker as your DC if you want to be bad at defense..." and Zach Zaidman said nothing to correct the guy or otherwise defend Mel Tucker (via something like "well in fairness to Mel the bears' defense had a lot of injuries and despite that managed to be 9th against the run in December" =)

AHEM. So yeah, Fangio is pretty nice in that it seems like he's been able to do some "more than the sum of their parts" defense in 2/3 seasons here, loggaints has his occasional moments but tends to have his offenses figured out around the middle of the 2nd quarter and then it's a 40/60 or maybe 30/70 chance that he'll be able to adjust to the adjustments and get the offense going again by the 4th quarter (something Trestman did almost every game back in 2013/year-1) and uhhhhh.... Do we even have a special teams coordinator? I never heard the guy's name b4!!

TLDR = the only good thing about Fox is that he's able to get solid professional-grade coordinators in here to at least give you a legit shot at being pretty cromulent (esp on defense) otherwise the combo of him and loggaints calling so many plays on 3rd and long that are ~3+ yards short of the first down AND require blocks + broken-tackles/jukes to make a first down = MADDENING AS HELL!!!!

TLDR TLDR = MOZILLA FIREFOX OUGHT TO BE *THE* OFFICIAL WEB BROWSER OF YOUR CHICAGO BEARS!!!

You can tell a lot about a coach by how his team plays out of a bye

The Ravens, who needed two huge special teams plays just to send thier game with the Bears into OT, shut out the Packers today.

Clean house tomorrow.
