North makes my eyes roll as much as yours, but I'll admit: classic North so far dissecting the misery that are the Bears.

Wow, even Fredrico is standing up to Northy as it pertains to the coverage/lack-there-of Steve Smith

I give him credit for doing the right thing today. This show has been fairly call intensive with very little Tranny drivel.

I haven't listened much today - is he actually blaming Grossman, or suggesting they may have won with Orton ?

In the little bit I heard, North was arguing that the Bears would've won if they had started Orton.....Sounded like Rosenbloom was making this point, too, on ESPN.

I guess the fact that no Bears defender could get within 7 yards of Steve Smith for most of the game wasn't a big factor in the loss.

i knew North would say that. Grossman put up 21 points. He dindn't have a turnover until the final 2 minutes of the game when he had to force the issue. There is no way we win the game with Orton.

I know North is stupid, but can even he be THAT stupid? Or is it just vintage North taking the controversial/unconventional side to garner attention? Whatever it is, he sure sounded like a fucking moron this morning. But then again, that's nothing new.

North is one of those proud stuborn idiots that can't admit he is wrong. He has been on this stupid Orton thing all year and he can't let it go.

North has been fighting with B&B all year over this. Orton has never led the Bears too 3 touchdown drives all year. I think the most has been 2 and that was because the Bears gave him great field positon off of a turnover.

In the words of B&B "If you think the Bears would have won the game with Orton then you are stupid"

Great points. None of the scores were a gift as a result of the defense giving them good field position. I may be wrong, but I believe all were at least 60 yards long. Additionally, in the November game, one of Carolina's best defenders, Dan Morgan, barely played. Yesterday, he was breathing down Rex's neck most of the game.

I heard the beginning of the show, and I basically agreed with everything he said, especially with ripping on Ron Turner's gameplan and why Steve Smith is single covered all day. Also agree that Ogulnye looks like an idiot, shouldve kept his mouth shut, and for Lovie not to give me the 'it was a good year' speech, because it got you nothing. Most of the wins were against horseshit teams and now it all means nothing

How can you say Turner has a bad game plan. Every single god damn bear fan...if you told them before the game that we would score 21 points.....would have taken it. Keep in mind the panthers are the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL. They just shut out a high potent Giants offense.

21 pts should have been enough for a win. The defense lost the game. End of discussion.

maybe if you knew anything you'd look at something other than points scored to rate the offense and the gameplan.

Are you stupid or what. Last I checked points is a pretty important stat. Thats all I really choose to look at and once again 21 should have been enough

the panthers, bengals, redskins (and I'm being generous), and steelers were the only good teams on that schedule, and out of those 4 the result was 1 win

did you even watch the game, the offense was lost at both the beginning and end of the game. Just because the defense fucked up, they get a free pass? Just because they scored 3 TDs, they don't have do anything else? Not to mention that many of their drives were helped with penalties from carolina. No shit that the defense sucked, so did the special teams, but that doesn't give the offense a pass

I guess the Bucs and Falcons must have been terrible. Winning a division that has the Pathers in it must mean you suck. No matter what the win/lose record or those teams doesn't look like horse shit.

I hate this logic, the Panthers lost to the Dolphins and Saints, by your logic, they should be playing for the Superbowl. The Falcons are bad, their QB is an overrated piece of crap, and that's the only reason they get press. TB has a nice D that isn't as good as the Bears and some nice young offensive players, but I wouldn't say they're great yet, the win against them was nice, and if you include them, you have 2 wins of the Bears' 11 that were against good teams.

As far as the penalties, I didn't mean the facemask, and I didn't say a big penalties, but there were numerous that kept the Bears drives alive and gave them automatic first downs, and they couldn't capitalize. 3 TD is nice, but just because it's 3 doesn't mean you should be happy if there's the chance for more

I know, as I said, no question the defense is to blame, they were embarrasing. 3 TDs were nice compared to what we see, but with a great running game and questionable everything else, I'm surprised they favored the 'air it out' route, what was with those first two plays of the game? Just the gave the ball right back to Carolina. It was a good offensive performance for them, but not so much in general. Anyways, it's over now, nothing'll change it, nothing to do now
