the panthers, bengals, redskins (and I'm being generous), and steelers were the only good teams on that schedule, and out of those 4 the result was 1 win
I guess the Bucs and Falcons must have been terrible. Winning a division that has the Pathers in it must mean you suck. No matter what the win/lose record or those teams doesn't look like horse shit.
I hate this logic, the Panthers lost to the Dolphins and Saints, by your logic, they should be playing for the Superbowl. The Falcons are bad, their QB is an overrated piece of crap, and that's the only reason they get press. TB has a nice D that isn't as good as the Bears and some nice young offensive players, but I wouldn't say they're great yet, the win against them was nice, and if you include them, you have 2 wins of the Bears' 11 that were against good teams.
As far as the penalties, I didn't mean the facemask, and I didn't say a big penalties, but there were numerous that kept the Bears drives alive and gave them automatic first downs, and they couldn't capitalize. 3 TD is nice, but just because it's 3 doesn't mean you should be happy if there's the chance for more
