Bernstein sounds like he is talking through a recent good cry.

Have had the stream on 670 since 8am.

First time that's happened in MANY years.

Less than a hour in and we are getting SJW talk about a pasta company being anti-gay

Kinda odd as pasta seems like a really gay friendly food (outside of the carbs)

What with the slurping and all.

Highly doubt that, but this show doesn't feel like it's built to last. I got the same vibe from Spiegel & Parkins.

And to get rid of that crazy 5 hour shift followed by 35 minutes of LoHo before Cubs pregame.

ESPN and most syndicated shows go for 3 hours. LeBatard was under contract in Miami to do 4 before he got the ESPN gig, so they do one local hour and three network hours.

I think one of the problems Dan B. has had is that he's needed to fill 5 hours of airtime every day, so he gets himself into trouble.

Going 9-12, 12-3, 3-6/6:30, and then either 6-10/10-12 or skipping LoHo with the game was too obvious. But that would have forced them to keep Speigs, and probably keep Goff.

But I cant' see Mac doing 5 hour shows, so maybe in a year they'll change the timings around.

What's the gayest pasta? I'm going with ditalini or farfalle.

Took me less than a hour and McKnight is already annoying me.

Classic shifts were

5/6-10
10-2
2-6

Go back to that.

Yeah, the five-hour shift was too much.

I'd have gone something like
5-9 M&H
9-noon idk Spiegel & Goff maybe?
noon-3 Bernstein solo
3-7 Mac and Parkins

That would work, and I would also consider keeping Bernstein on with Mac and Parkins from 3:00-4:00 to allow some cross-talk.

He should never talk. He has been there 10+ years and has never gotten a hosting gig. There's a reason for that. His podcast sucks too.

Why would Dan need to welcome Florio to "the new Score Midday Show"?

Just say hello.

Here we go with the Kaepernick talk again...did he opt of his contract or was he released?

They tried him on the weekends and it was bad; he only solo hosted after Blackhawk playoff games.

Just say hello.

They're gonna over-promote these changes for at least a month ... shoehorning those sorts of things anywhere possible ... not an unexpected thing.

Watching the stream, these guys have zero interaction during breaks. It must be fun.

Yup!

McKnight is just a female version of Goff. The race rants won't be as frequent but there will be more women equality rants.

 you mean women’s equality rants on a show and station that just had a chance to actually hire a woman for but didn’t ?

No complaints from The Red Menace about a POC being replaced by a, gasp, white male?

Well angering the bosses when they are in a firing mood is not wise

If so, you know it's not for the loss of his co-workers.

Maybe he weeped to DeCastro and thanked him for the opportunity to work for such a great organization who looks out for its own.

A shoehorned Chappelle's Show reference from Connor. He's relatable to me as a younger person!

Sorry to break it to you, but thinking a Chappelle Show reference makes you a young person is something an old person would do. That was 15 years ago, bro.

No offense. I'm right there with you.
