I’ll have to find it but last week there was video of some dude at a restaurant in Texas ? that took a teenagers MAGA hat and threw a drink in his face . I saw the guy as tracked down and arrested but I’m not sure what he was charged with but I’m almost sure it’s not a hate crime .

The second part definitely is, but nobody, least of all me, has argued that judges don't have great latitude in running their courtrooms. The first part is the proper and appropriate decision under the law. The video does not help the prosecution. The woman was not assaulted and even drunks have free speech rights under the First Amendment. Case dismissed.

One thing I found interesting is the the Forest Preserve Police had to go out and arrest this guy at home. I know they are technically county cops, but I have never seen those guys outside of a forest preserve, or en route.
