You started calling Cubs games in 2005 (I can’t believe it’s been nearly 15 seasons). Opening day at Bank One Ballpark was a doozy. Same cannot be said for Illini basketball later that evening!

Anyway, everybody was contributing that afternoon, including Derrek Lee — who never really cooled off that year. Had to look this up: He was batting a ridiculous .378 at the All-Star break and finally finished at .335 Is this your favorite single season performance from a Cubs player to cover/follow from the booth?
