My guess is to restart the conditioning of NFL fans to watching bad football on Thursday nights.

It was originally scheduled for last night but was moved to tonight so that it would not conflict with the Cubs kicking Pitts ass

Interesting story about the Raven's Hayden Hurst. He was drafted by the Pirates as a pitcher, got the yips, walked on at South Carolina as a TE, and was a 1st round draft pick of the Ravens.

Calling the '96 Ravens an expansion team is a stretch

He's a great interview.

But he probably murdered a guy.

Legally the Ravens are considered an expansion franchise and the Browns are a continuation of the original franchise granted to Cleveland.

Jerry Kramer seems to have had a stroke, or he got hit in the jaw one time too many.

I know but they brought their whole team with them to Baltimore. NFL considers it an expansion team, but in reality it was a relocation like the Nordiques moving to Colorado.

How come radio.com app is not streaming the game. I could always get the games through the web in past years.

This helmet rule sucks. No way that Ravens player should have been flagged; even everyone on the tv broadcast thought he led with the shoulder.

This rule is going to turn out to be as confusing as the catch rule.

I understand that they relocated the personnel, but they forfeited the rights to the Browns' intellectual property and records. It was a new arrangement at the time.

Will this be the only game of the year in which (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky doesn't throw an interception?

The reason is they didn't want the game to close out the Hall of Fame festivities, so they started last year putting this on THursday so the speeches can close out everything.

And the fact that a few years ago the field was in such bad shape that they had to cancel the game. This way if the field isn't playable or there is bad weather, the game could be played the following day or Saturday afternoon.
