Based on the seeming incompetence of the Bears Training staff over the last few years, I don't blame anyone for holding out as long as possible to avoid dealing with those butchers.

I dont think this "injury" really puts him on the level of Kevin White or Leonard Floyd. Its a pretty minor hamstring thing. He missed a practice. I doubt it would even show up on an injury report for a regular season game.

Was I the only one impressed with his play Monday night? He had a number of big hits and seemingly was flying around out there. I understand the Mack love, but i thought Smith was very good as well.

Nah. Its a minor injury probably due to a lack of a true training camp. And this injury is at a position where the Bears are probably as deep as any team in the NFL. Not only are they deep but they have an incredible amount of talent in that depth.

I love Brock Martinez and wanted the Bears to draft him out of Stanford. He is absolutely a potential pro-bowl player. IF Smith is as good as Martinez, I'd be happy. Look I hate Green Bay but they are smart in drafting Stanford players.
