Yup. As soon as he did a 180 and agreed with me that paying Mack is worth it he started making sense.

So Clittawoski(#44) looked like an absolute beast last night. I still can't believe the Bears caved to this little Diva's demands, they had all the leverage!

Didn't he hurt his hammy at the combine as well? Hope it's not chronic like Clay Matthews seems to be in GB.

Did Pace draft him in the first round? Yes? Then he sits out his rookie season with an injury. Those are the rules.

I know injuries happen and a lot of it is luck, but god damn, Ryan Pace is great at picking injury prone players. I sense another crappy year ahead of us

Based on the seeming incompetence of the Bears Training staff over the last few years, I don't blame anyone for holding out as long as possible to avoid dealing with those butchers.

I dont think this "injury" really puts him on the level of Kevin White or Leonard Floyd. Its a pretty minor hamstring thing. He missed a practice. I doubt it would even show up on an injury report for a regular season game.

Was I the only one impressed with his play Monday night? He had a number of big hits and seemingly was flying around out there. I understand the Mack love, but i thought Smith was very good as well.

You were not. Even against the Packers he made an impact. They're probably undefeated if he plays more. Kwiatkowski is solid but Aaron Rodgers torched him because he is a little slow.

I'm sorry you missed Blake wrecking your team in the 4th quarter of Week 1. He's a good LB. Gonna need to see a rookie play at least a game before I put him over Blake Martinez.

I think he will. I don't think he is right now after playing 1 career start. Tbh this is not hard to comprehend. Do simple better bob

No I just want to know if you think Roquan Smith is a pro bowler or a poor mans Brad Martinez. It's a binary question.

It's not.

I think Smith will be a great player, better than Blake Martinez.

Since he has only one career start, I don't think he's already better than him.

I can't dumb that down anymore for you Bob.

They're going to be frighteningly fast and good when Floyd's hand heals

If he becomes a pro bowler, I don't think he will be as good as Earl Anthony.

Sometimes he looks lost out there but no doubt he flies to the ball. He's only going to get better.

Nah. Its a minor injury probably due to a lack of a true training camp. And this injury is at a position where the Bears are probably as deep as any team in the NFL. Not only are they deep but they have an incredible amount of talent in that depth.

I love Brock Martinez and wanted the Bears to draft him out of Stanford. He is absolutely a potential pro-bowl player. IF Smith is as good as Martinez, I'd be happy. Look I hate Green Bay but they are smart in drafting Stanford players.
