Yes, but about the only team I think they can't beat are the Saints in that dome. I guess we'll see about the Rams and Vikings in the weeks to come.

The team has the potential to beat anyone. The problem for me is that they have yet to play a complete game except maybe against Tampa. Against the Lions, they let off the gas on offense in the 2nd half, and their special teams was terrible.

They played a great half against the Packer, then died. They have had several games where they play a good half, and then look average. You are not going to beat the Vikings, Rams, or Saints by playing a partial good game.

The Vikings will be a nice test. I am bullish on this team. There is tons of upside.

I don't think you can judge a team by how they play up 20+ points in the first half. It's almost impossible not to let off the gas.

How'd that work out for the Bears in the Packers game?

Yeah, but they lost. That's not excusable. I guess I'm just saying a win is a win, for the most part.

Yeah I get it. But for instance, their running is crap. If it was stronger, they would have finished that game off a lot cleaner. My point is that this is not yet a great team. It is a good team with a lot of things to fix to become great.

That was a different team. Especially on offense. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky looks like an entirely different player. Fuller has done a better job catching the ball too.to

You are right. And the other defensive players have now begun to really augment the addition of Mack. Fuller, to my mind, is having a Pro Bowl season. And Hicks is now really beginning to collapse the pocket along with his fellow linemen.

And on offense, we see Cohen making more and more an impact along with Mitch's receivers since the first few games. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a quick study and is really thriving right now. It is really fun to watch his progression. He is not a text book quarterback. He is an athlete that plays a very good quarterback. ITs not pretty sometimes but it WORKS.

Kudos also to Babich, the offensive line coach. Talent-wise, this team is not among the best in football. Far from it, particularly at the tackle positions. But what he has done is to make these guys better than just serviceable, but pretty good over-all in conjunction with a quarterback that gets the ball off quickly and can buy time with his feet as well as to see the field and take off and run.

The difference over-all of this team from the first game to now is amazing progress. Ladies and gentlemen, the Chicago Bears are a good football team.

Babich is a former LB coach and Defensive Coordinator. Harry Hiestand is our offensive line coach. I agree we finally have a good team.

Bears up to 7 in the Power Rankings. Interesting stats about the Rams and the Saints. Rams can't stop the run, and the Saints defense can't stop anyone in the Red Zone.

Thanks for the correction. I don't know where I pulled Babich from?
