I don't. I've always been against the PG being a team's top scoring option...or best deep threat. Besides, Beverly certainly isn't a butcher outside...he shoots about 40% from 3 his last 4 seasons.

The Bulls have 3P shooting covered. They need defense and smart, talented guards.

Lonzo is a perfect fit.

Read on Twitter a thing saying that the Bulls and Rockets were talking about a Chris Paul for Markk/Dunn deal

They definitely need to address PG, but I would hope Markk would not be traded. I am pretty much good with anyone else going

Sounds like something the Bulls would do.

Trading for Paul would be the new version of signing Rondo and Wade to be the new faces of a youth movement.

I assume the Bulls will sign Isaiah Thomas. Sounds like something they would do.

So the Bulls lose the #7 pick and Zach Lavine in return for #4 and Lonzo. I wouldn't mind it.

Don't like that trade at all. Moving up from 7 to 4 in what's widely seen as a 2-3 player draft isn't very desirable, and I'm even less crazy about the idea of Ball on this team when it involves losing the most productive offensive player.

I think Garland vs whoever would be there at 7 is a pretty significant upgrade.

So they get Garland; what do you do with Lonzo.

Play him next to Garland. They have pretty different skill sets that should be able to work together.

I don't really get how much of an upgrade he necessarily is, especially if you're landing your PG of the future in Ball anyway. I guess maybe you could try to play them together to make up for the newly created hole at the 2, but I'd have wanted to see a lot more from Garland before I'd attempt that experiment. And I'm not sure why one would prefer that to just trading for Ball straight up and running him with LaVine instead.

Setting aside Ball, I also don't think the gap between Garland and White or whoever at 7 is anywhere near as big as the one between Morant and Garland.

Only time will tell I suppose. I think Garland is closer to Morant than he is to White as a prospect.

Garland seems like he would be a good grab, but I'm not as sure on how well Ball and Garland can get on together, nor do I care about Solomon Hill. And I don't even like Lavine.

How many two PG lineups have worked in NBA history? You seem to hear about "oh these two guys will be able to play each other" but when did it actually play well?

I remember the Sixers with Iverson and Eric Snow.

Lonzo would be the facilitator and primary defender of the best guard. Garland would be your scorer.

Chris Paul and James Harden almost beat GS last year. Then Paul got hurt.

Warriors didn't have Iggy, and Chris Paul wants out of Houston now.

Not exactly a long, successful partnership with Harden.

And Harden is hardly a PG.

You could trade #7 pick to Lakers for ball, they'd take it. I don't want that buster Ball on the Bulls.

I say he is a SG if we're labeling him one of the 5 traditional positions. 80+% of his career minutes have him sharing the floor with either Westbrook, Lin, Beverly or Paul.

What does a PG do that Harden doesn't do over the past 3 years? Nothing? Exactly. He is a PG. Arguing otherwise is just wanting to argue semantics rather than the actual point.

I would be happy with that trade as well.

Lonzo and the 4.

Hope it happens

LaVine would be the best asset in that whole deal. Why don’t the Bulls get Davis themselves?

I’d rather have Garland on his rookie contract than lavine for $20 million a year.

Agreed, if the Bulls want to move Lavine..they can. Moving from 7-4 means dick this year.
