Yes on this. All early reports did not have a pick coming back.

Plus, GarPax having to deal with Big Baller would be awesome.

I was referring to your best asset in the trade.

I’m good on getting AD. We don’t have the roster to support what it would cost.

Wasn’t it reported Anthony Davis absolutely does not want to play for the Bulls?

The Bulls are never signing a tier one FA as long as Pax and Foreman are around. The only Davis we're getting is Dale Davis as possibly an assistant coach. If you think Anthony Davis will sign here voluntarily then you're high.

I'd offer Klay the max right damn now. He's a shooter. He can make a living doing that for a long time.

Just coming back to this, the proposed trade has the Bulls taking on Solomon Hill for $12 million and Lonzo's rookie contract is $10 million a year too so it wouldn't exactly increase any cap flexibility. I hate to be defending LaVine this much, but he's on a value contact compared to what he'd get in free agency this year.

Also the current rumor seems to be that the Bulls would take Culver rather than Garland if they go through with this trade. That would make a lot more sense to me but I think it would still be an awful trade overall.

I saw that proposed trade as well.

Agreed it’s a shit deal for Bulls unless Ball turns into Jason Kidd.

Pelicans get some nice pieces in Kuzma and Lavine tho.

Love how the supposed major market team is acting as some other team's bitch to get them Davis. When did we start to accept that we have no shot at the ADs of the world?

The Bulls should get DeAngelo Russell, he's likely getting replaced by Kyrie( mistake) DeAngelo is a hell of a lot better than Ball.

Not relevant to the trade, but this post just made me chuckle about the Lakers front office insisting head coach candidates be willing to take on a snake like Kidd as an assistant to help develop Ball at the same time they're trying to get rid of him.

GarPax should be fired for even contemplating such a stupid deal.

I'd be okay with this. That would be a lot of fun. I don't think the Bulls have to do much to create a max salary slot?

Suns fans want Russell. It sounds like James Jones and co. like him but not enough to pay $100 million. Ayton is going to be special but knowing they could've paired Booker with Luka Doncic or Trae Young -- and had either player on rookie deals -- is why they don't feel like paying Russell so much god damn money. Try and draft the right PG next week.

The funniest thing to come out of Davis talks comes from Pelicans GM David Griffin. He appears to be holding out for guys that are All Stars or have All Star potential.

Apparently none of the Lakers guys fit either description

Could have grabbed Fox over Jackson too.

Is this your guess or is this likely happening or confirmed?

Yep and he actually played much better under Hoiberg than he did under the rather buffoonish Boylen.

Yep. Slight chance that Ingham never plays again. Even if he does doesn't look like he will ever be an All Star player.

Ball isn't better than Elfrid Payton. No one knows what draft picks will be because well they are after all draft picks.

Yessir. Forgot about that one. Fox would be nice. It feels like if Jackson ever turns into something, it won't be with Phoenix. They're shopping him and TJ Warren.

Maybe it started the second he let it be known that he wasn't going to resign with anyone besides the Lakers perhaps?

I don't know if it came from his camp but it was sort of out there. I think it was something generated by the Laker brass. Probably Magic, as he has definitely shown that he isn't above doing such things.

No thanks
