The Bulls are never signing a tier one FA as long as Pax and Foreman are around. The only Davis we're getting is Dale Davis as possibly an assistant coach. If you think Anthony Davis will sign here voluntarily then you're high.

Just coming back to this, the proposed trade has the Bulls taking on Solomon Hill for $12 million and Lonzo's rookie contract is $10 million a year too so it wouldn't exactly increase any cap flexibility. I hate to be defending LaVine this much, but he's on a value contact compared to what he'd get in free agency this year.

Also the current rumor seems to be that the Bulls would take Culver rather than Garland if they go through with this trade. That would make a lot more sense to me but I think it would still be an awful trade overall.

Suns fans want Russell. It sounds like James Jones and co. like him but not enough to pay $100 million. Ayton is going to be special but knowing they could've paired Booker with Luka Doncic or Trae Young -- and had either player on rookie deals -- is why they don't feel like paying Russell so much god damn money. Try and draft the right PG next week.

The funniest thing to come out of Davis talks comes from Pelicans GM David Griffin. He appears to be holding out for guys that are All Stars or have All Star potential.
