Again, you are harping on a few throws or a half a game here and there where Mitch played well. That is reductive and stupid.

The Bears scored 3 points against the Packers. They scored 0 first half points against the Eagles. They scored 3 against KC. They scored 7 against the Rams. At least some of that is Mitch's fault. He had performed better in those games, perhaps they win one or two of them.

If Mitch simply holds on to the ball in the 4th quarter against the Chargers, the Bears win. He couldn't even do that, and those turnovers directly lead to the Bears loss.

The offense overall (except Robinson) was very bad. Incredibly bad. Mitch lead the way.

Three of his final five games in 2018, including the playoffs, the Bears scored 14, 15, and 15 points. It's been trending down with Mitch for more than a few games now.

Look if you want to be another miserable Bears fan who will intentionally gloss over anything positive to keep on your runaway bitchtrain I wont be the one who stops you. You can see whatever you want to see if you refuse to look at things from any other angle.

The guy figured out how to connect on the deep ball and keep his eyes down field and he rediscovered his elusiveness and running ability. Most of all he seems to have stopped playing scared. As far as I'm concerned his actual development as an NFL quarterback started at the midpoint of the 2019 season. If you're expecting his ups-and-downs to be anywhere near over you've got another thing coming.

The singular metric you are using to judge the quarterback is points scored by the offense. You know the Seahawks have scored seventeen, twenty-one and thirteen in their last three games? And twelve against the Rams late in the season on top of that?

And which QB was better than league average between Wilson and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky?

They also scored 19 this past Sunday. If Mitch was able to put up 19 points in his wild card game, against the same team with a backup QB, the Bears win.

But this isn't what happened. What happened was the Bears played a series of mostly weak opponents and he played better against awful teams. Then in Weeks 15 and 16 against the Packers and Chiefs he played poorly.

You don't believe in statistics, but for those that do they can look at his rating, QBR, completion percentage, Y/A or anything else.

His only two good games against opponents with a good record were Week 7 New Orleans and Week 17 Minnesota, and Minnesota played no starters.

He played well against the Packers outside of a pick to a defensive lineman. He played poorly against the Saints. Actually watching the games would tell you this.

I only watched the last few games, but was shocked how much they put him in the pocket and expect him to review the reads and make the right one. that will never work.

6 plays, 18 yards, punt
3 plays, -9 yards, punt
3 plays, 5 yards, punt
15 plays, 49 yards, turnover on downs
8 plays, 52 yards, field goal
1 play, 0 yards, interception
6 plays, 41 yards, turnover on downs

I don't know about you Nas, but myself and the rest of the smart football fans on this board would not say that 164 yards and 3 points thru three quarters of football is playing well. Certainly not in a division game with your playoff lives on the line.

You're free to watch the game. I even provided a YouTube video of the game that ONLY shows his passes.

1 minute into that was a handoff to Cohen. I stopped watching then when you posted it way back when.

Pretty sure I watched both Bears / Packers games in their entirety. And we live in a results driven world.

55% completion rate, 63 passer rating, 1 touchdown, 3 picks, and a couple good scrambles.

"B-b-but d-drops!!"

He had 98 pass attempts total, and his guys dropped 3 passes. Let's give him those. Well hot damn, now we're up to 59.2% completion percentage. Stud.
