Am I the only one who's a little weary about Rose in the summer league? My foremost concern is the fact that he's already going from the college season to the NBA season, and the summer league will only make the fatigue worse; this may not be an issue for a guy who's going to get a little playing time here and there in his rookie season, but presumably Rose will be starting.

The other concern, and I hate to even put it in writing, is injury. I guess I just wonder how much a Derrick Rose gets out of summer league experience.

I'd be surprised if Thomas plays in the Summer League. It seems that it is primarily populated by 1st & 2nd year players and I don't get the feeling that Thomas is a team-first kind of person. I hope I'm wrong in that regard though. Actually - I'd bee happy to hear that he is working out at the Berto center on a regular basis...but again I doubt it.

Beasley looks really good, but he looks like a really good SF. Also, the Bulls arent guarding him well at all. Rose is being very deferential.

I just connected to it, and the first thing I saw was Rose fake someone out of their shoes and drive to the basket and get fouled. That looked really good and was something we never saw last year.
