I'm in the business of notifying them on how to improve their business.

What's the best strategy now?

Comcast internet $30 or $50 with some channel package called 10+ (Does 10+ give the local channels?)

Hulu basic $5.99 or Live no ads $45/mo?

Netflix $14

Prime $10

Disney+ $6

HBO NOW $15

Other premium networks?

I think Hulu with no ads is like 12 bucks a month. There's a bundle for Disney+, Hulu basic, and ESPN+ for $13 a month.

Why is Prime $10?

Isn't prime about $120/year? With all the Amazon crap we buy, it more than pays for itself with the free shipping. I'm just saying, it does cost something.

Yeah, I didn't connect the dots because I don't use Prime video as much as I should...I look at it as an added benefit of Prime.

I dropped DTV for Hulu Live with the HBO add on. I have NetFlix and Prime. Like Boyd, Prime is just an extra in my house. I will add Disney+ as I am a sucker for Star Wars owing to my childhood love of that universe.

I may add that ESPN+ because of all the boxing.

I've heard good things about The Mandalorian so far. I'm hoping to have time either tonight after bowling or tomorrow at lunch to watch the first episode.

Glad to hear that and what billy wrote above. I am going to give this Disney thing a shot.

I have to figure out what to do with all the movies we've purchased over the years on Comcast.

At most Marquee can get preseason games, but those are typically played or replayed on NFL Network so that won't swing anyone.

NFL teams (unlike the other leagues) don't make their own TV deals. People won't give two fucks about whatever Bears content Marquee provides because every game will still be on Fox or CBS plus the prime time games on NBC or ESPN.

People won't change fandom based upon TV availability, but younger fans who just start watching will pick their fandom based upon what's available to watch. Once again, look at Chicago fandoms pre and post Einhorn's failed SportsVision.

Very few people are going to sign up for ATT just for Marquee. They'll pirate it before they do that, but that won't help the Cubs bottom line.

We're not talking about televising games. We're talking about shows interviewing players. We're talking about 'inside Halas Hall.' We're talking pre- and post-games. Access you don't get on other channels.

Chicago is a Bears town. Fans will eat it up.

How much of a demand is there for those types of shows?

Huge demand. All of the leaders of the chicago area RSNs that came before Marquee are going to be kicking themselves for not think up The Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky Show.

The problem is Mitch is going to have to turn off the monitor used to break down plays lest he feel criticized

Need some help. What is the best service to get ?

HULU TV vs YOUTUBE TV vs Sling?

For those who got rid of Cable for any of these, do you miss anything from cable? I will only need to watch sports and some documentary's. If something is good on HBO then I can pay for that separately for only a month. I already have netflix.

We cut Direct, but my wife like Law and Order so we got YouTube TV.

Has that and all sports channels.

I had YouTube tv for a while and then realized I don't need tv. Sports sucks. Just give me Netflix, HBO now, and Showtime. The rest is garbage. If sports isn't on free tv, who cares. The NFL gets it

YoutubeTV is far and away the best product out there right now

i was surprised to read that YTTV only has 2M subscribers, Hulu live tv has 3.4M, expected that number to be higher.

Still going strong with YouTubeTV. If only I can get Live PD, I may never leave the house again.

Hulu's offering has been around several years now. YTTV has been around maybe 1 year

I'm trying to see how long I can go without turning on my TV set (except to use it as a better Spotify speaker). Going on about three weeks so far.

That said, when things calm down, I will have somebody come install an antenna in the attic and connect it to the former cable coax this summer, so I can watch some NFL and the occasional NHL game.

YTTV was available in just 5 markets then. It didn't go national until early 2019 so it has essentially only been available to most consumers for only 1 year.
