I wonder if an audience would be allowed for the new Chicago tradition of cheap shotting janitors on Wacker?

They should play their games at 1AM on Monday, when she allows looters.

I honestly thought that decision was made months ago.

Did season ticket holders have to still pay for their PSL? I'd be irate as a fan if I still had to pay.

Nothing is changing best case until spring. Illinois has made it clear they will take it slow.

I feel this makes sense. Not a medical expert, but the research has said being outdoors means you are less susceptible to catching it. I'm sure there was a way to get some number of fans. That said, how do you choose who gets to go?

Bribery. It is the Chicago way.

Nothing is official yet. All they have announced is that there will be no fans at Soldier Field to start the season. This could continue for the entire season, or a limited number of fans could be allowed at some point. The entire season has not been made official. Things could change, which they probably will not, but still too early to write off the entire season.

Have they announced whether or not they plan to score an offensive touchdown in Soldier Field during the 2020-21 season?

We have been working diligently with Soldier Field’s management partner, ASM Global, the Chicago Park District, and public health officials to assess whether a responsible plan that follows City, State, CDC, and NFL guidelines could be developed to safely accommodate a limited number of fans at Soldier Field this season. After discussing a draft plan with City health officials, we are in agreement with the City of Chicago that health metrics show that it is not the right time to welcome fans back to Soldier Field. This was a difficult decision for everyone involved, but we are confident it’s the right one at this time. The health and safety of the city’s residents and fans of the Bears, along with our players and stadium employees, will always take priority. We will continue to work with the City to monitor the environment, and we believe there can be a sound plan in place to bring fans back to Soldier Field once it is deemed safe and appropriate. Until then, Bears home games will not include in-person fans.

You will be the first to know when fans are permitted to return and how single game tickets can be purchased. We encourage you to follow the team across our social and media channels, including ChicagoBears.com and the Chicago Bears Official App. Our commitment is to provide you the best access to your team as we prepare for and play the 2020 season.

All Season Ticket Holders will either receive a refund or 2020 payments can be credited to the 2021 season. Refunds will continue to be processed in the coming weeks using the same method in which the original payment was made. Accounts that remain with a credit balance will have the funds applied towards their 2021 season ticket renewal. There is nothing you need to do to reserve your same seat locations for next year. Season ticket renewal information will automatically be sent to you next February for the 2021 season. All ticket transfers, donations, and secondary sales that have taken place for this season have been cancelled. We encourage you to call the Ticket Office at 847-615-BEAR (2327) with any questions regarding your account.

Attending a Bears game on the lakefront is a special experience because of the energy, noise, and passion that you bring every time. Your presence will be missed, but your support will be felt.

Thank you for the patience and understanding that you have shown over the past five months. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back

WBBM reported this morning that the door wasn't closed pending any changes in Corona info.

Illinois will continue to clamp down on anything other than rioting and looting until after the election, or perhaps even after inauguration day.
