I think that's why he didn't go out to meet Nagy after the game -- too busy getting canned on the sideline.

You two are idiots. That looked like a very good team as soon as Foles came in.

Yeah, hard to argue with these results. He should look even better with a full week of practice taking all the snaps too.

Mitch needs to stay ready tho, Foles has a really dicey injury history

Not surprised Foles looks better but Atl didn't prepare for him. He'll regress to the mean in two weeks and we'll go back to not having a QB.

unbelievable.

I'm still in shock.

Why was (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky benched? He wasnt playin' that terribly.

This was like 3 games: (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky; then Foles came in and he played mediocre with an INT in the 3rd quarter, then Foles in the 4th quarter.

Anyway, the game turned on the play calling. With about 5:32 left, ATL up 26-10, ALL they had to do was run the ball. Instead, they passed 3 times, 3 and out, and Bears scored quickly after that. If you run the ball (Gurley was having a great game), you probly take the clock down to about 3 minutes, then the Bears, sure they may score after that, but it takes the time down to 2:00 or below. In which case now they have to do an onside kick. And still score 2 more times.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PLAYCALLING IS WHY QUINN LOST THIS GAME. REMEMBER THAT. THAT IS THE REASON THE FALCONS LOST.

Maybe. I’ll be fair for now and give both Foles and Nagy together a shot over the next couple games before drawing a conclusion. I’m still pretty sure I know what Nagy and Foles are, but let’s see how it plays out..

If Foles does great, he can say that he never said that it wasn't time for a QB change, he was for it the whole time, but in that particular game Foles didn't distance himself that much from (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

How is Quinn employed still? He got his dick kicked in by MM and Nagy in back to back weeks with late 4th quarter 2 score leads.

That's why I want to see PFF's rating. They take context into account. You can spike your traditonal rating by completing 10 two yard passes in a row in the middle of the first quarter. PFF accounts for that bullshit.

Agreed. Years ago during the Lovie years I actually thought Hub was pretty decent.. over the years his opinions have toe’d the line of bizarre to flat out stupid and unlistenable.

Just stop. Falcons are going to hang on and win.

You thought that I was kidding

 Yeah I really didn't know that the Falcons were the Browns and Lions of the southeast.

They blew a big lead against the Patriots a few years ago in kind of an important game.

Yeah, it shows how QB rating can be misleading.

Hard to judge Foles. Several throws were shaky/lucky, but he got the job done with no notice.

Watch his arm. He throws like god intended. And still makes good throws.
