A's rain delay highlights were always my favorite - learning the exploits of Joe Rudi and Gene Tenace.

I get comfort that years from now the youth of Chicago will learn about the great things the A's did in the playoffs this year against the White Sox during the inevitable nuclear apocalypse.

Collins? I think I’d rather see Yolmer pinch hitting in a key spot.

EE is old, fat and bad but still good for the occasional dinger. Also one of the few guys on the roster with some decent playoff experience.

If they kept the 5 team playoff this year, Sox still would've been a wildcard team. They have a better record than the 2nd place finishers in any other division and thus would've been in the wildcard game as the 3rd place team in their division, exact same spot your Flubs were in 2015.

The Sox finished with a better record than the Cubs during what are supposed to be the dynasty years. The Cubs couldn't win more games despite playing in the worse division in modern memory, including the COVID compromised Cardinals.

The Cubs dynasty is past, I think most rational Cub fans can admit that. At best, it's a tepid reaction in Cub nation right now. We certainly aren't dancing to the tune of backing into a CoronaCard Spot, though I think we call all agree it's better Ogie celebrate non-accomplishments than dead cops.

Yes, the Cubs were definitely not a dynasty. I think most people would agree that you have to win three world series bare minimum to be considered a dynasty. The Yankees of the late 90's, early 00's are a good example, they won four world series in five years, easily a dynasty.

Ah.....would be nice. Reminds me of the Baltimore-Pittsburg series when I was a kid. Maybe the Yankees-Dodgers. I also liked Garagiola...or at least he reminds me of that era.

The recent Giants were definitely a dynasty however I will seek advice on this from a fanbase of a team that has actually won a playoff game this decade.
