Which is in response to you pretending Mack is elite --- bringing up other players playing the same position and outproducing Mack is one of the examples I provided to counteract that claim, which makes a lot of sense, you just don't like hearing it.

To clarify I went thru the game logs in February or March. I was trying to find out if Mack's decline was real or imagined. Just watching the games it looked to me he was being dropped more and the logs backed that up. I think the least times he'd been dropped in a game was 10. I found an evaluator that had gone thru every snap from 18 and 19 and found his double teams had increased in 19. He also found the number of G/T double teams had increased from the T/TE and RB double teams he had seen in 18.

I think we do, and they call them the "offensive line"

And they definitely are gamechangers, but moreso for the other team.

Tough position for a rookie in a tough season to be a rookie. He's starting to show and really displaying two way ability at the position. I don't think he has elite ability but definitely next tier. I think people compared him to Kyle Rudolph, which seems fair in terms of style. They will probably have very similar numbers at the end of their rookie years

If he's Kyle Rudolph long term that should be considered disappointing. Rudolph is a perfectly average guy but if you don't have an elite tight end then you just have a guy. big deal.

Not going to do a deep dive, so I hope this drive by analysis suffices, but as you know a lack of statistical production on defense isn't necessarily indicative of poor play. There are many reasons why you may not get home as a DL/LB guy, with just being bad only one out of several other possibilities.
