Looks like Paul Konerko just blew out his knee. Hopefully, it's just a hyper extension, but that did not look good.

Sox really need this win tonight, the Twins have opened up a big lead against the Royals at home.

Jesus Christ!!!! Konerko goes down.

I'm no Doctor, but I think Paulie just hyper extended it or sprained it. If it's sprained it will be 2 weeks. I've done that.

Because there was some give in the grass when he slipped. It wasn't locked up. That's just my "non expert" opinion.

If he is hurt then we will see more of Wise and Anderson.

If Konerko is done that could be the end.

Wise sucks.

I'm gonna start breaking shit if I have to sit through 4 more innings of the Sox going down nice and easy.

These cocksuckers need to get on and some ass hole needs to pop a fuckin homer.

If you think it's looking bleak now, Mark Buehrle will have his hands full tomorrow vs. Roy Halladay at 7:11p. OUCH!!! As far as Paul Konerko is concerned, his season might be over, as Ed Farmer on radio says that P.K.'s right knee injury is frightening similar to the achilles that sidelined Jose Contreras for the season...

Bring AJ's ass off the bench to pinch hit for fat ass Toby. I know he played earlier and he's a catcher. But who gives a shit? 20 games left. Nobody cares if your tired. AJ doesn't care. He'll play and probably get 2 hits tonight.

Toby is fat piece of shit. Since he can't stay in shape he can't hit.

Toby is just the "pie in the face" ass hole. We need you to hit too Toby!!!! You fuckin' clown.

2 great plays today by Uribe. That bunt he fielded and the double play he just turned.

Beardown, I think we'll see Anthony John soon enough...The Sox are losing players left & right at the worst time. Contreras, Quentin, Crede, and earlier today, Chris Getz broke his wrist...All are out for the season, and in all likelihood, so is Paulie, depending on how severe his right knee injury is...

Before the first game today, "Dirty 30" had a BA of only .228 w/24 HRs & 69 RBIs...I bet it's gone down like the rest of the Sox bats in this disasterous day-night doubleheader...

Jesse Litsch has retired 11 in a row, and the White Sox bats seem to have died since Paul Konerko blew out his right knee...Unfortunately, the Twins lead the Royals 7-2 in the 7th at the Metrodome.

The initial report is that Paul Konerko sprained the MCL in his right knee. An MRI will be held tomorrow, but I think P.K.'s season will soon be over, just like Contreras, Quentin, Crede & Getz. :( :(

I hate Russell. I thought he sucked even when he pitched well when we called him up.

It's amazing how our bullpen guys can't be accidently good. They can't accidently get some outs. You'd think one of these fuckers would get lucky. But no. They all are worthless fuckin ass holes. Every god damn last one of these call ups are fuckers. May they all rot in hell.

My prediction was right. It is just a sprain for Paulie. Still, I'm pretty sure that means 2 weeks. Maybe 10 days at best.

Beardown, I believe that's the end of Paulie's season, because the Sox don't have many games left... :(

I know. But just looking at what he did I still say it's only a sprain. Just from watching football injuries I get a feel for these things. The knee didn't lock up. It gave in the grass. That's why I don't think he tore anything.

I hope your feel is right. The Sox cannot afford to lose too many more.

Guys, it didn't look like Jose Contreras tore anything in his only start before he hurt his achilles...White Sox fans better pray tonight, but the sight of Konerko being helped off the field isn't good!

What the fuck is Ozzie doing? Pinch running for Dye. Christ, it probably won't matter but you could have a comeback and need Dye for a 9th inning at bat or for extra innings. Jesus Christ that's just stupid.

I don't get it either. Jerry Owens does have speed, but I think Ozzie should've waited to pinch run until the 9th.

My God!!!! Griffey just has no pop in his bat. It's such a slow swing. He cheats so much to pull the ball; starts his swing so early. But he has nothing on the swing. It's a lazy pop up or a lazy ground ball for the most part.
