suicide is extremely rough. i still think about a kid i went to high school who killed himself years later and i never saw him after i moved from here to finish high school on the east coast. we were co-workers at mcdonald's and had a lot of laughs. still stings that i can't ever re-connect. we'd have some great memories to share.

a friend-of-a-friend's brother just committed suicide on a weekend where his parents (whom he was living with) were out. i am pretty sure he planned it that way. what they must be going through...and they're one of those "we don't talk about our issues" houses.

RR, sorry to hear.

Unfortunately off of the top of my head, I know at least 7 people that have committed suicide. Absolutely terrible.

Arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery tomorrow morning. Pretty routine they say but a bit of a long time to be back to 100%. At least hope to be rid of the pain.

Best of luck and hope the rehab goes well also. My knee has been giving me some trouble of late and I don't want to go and get it looked at.

Small piece of advice, stop looking for the camera and slow down.

Glad to hear that it went well.

I would hope that the nights bring some sleep.

I was going to make a snappy comment about investing some money in a sex doll. So I did a quick Google search and ended up going down a rabbit hole looking at full body and half torso sex dolls. I gotta say I am intrigued. I do have some questions though.

One of our teachers today was told he was a terrible human being and should not be allowed around kids. The parent is upset that her son has a B in his class and their department policy is no test retakes or extra credit. Which she signed off on at the beginning of the year. Oh and she ended the conversation by saying she was going to be reaching out to the Cherokee Nation to find out what they could do legally about this  I wonder what she would do if the kid was failing the class

They took the whole Cherokee nation
Put us on this reservation
Took away our ways of life
The tomahawk and the bow and knife
Took away our native tongue
And taught their English to our young

They can just grab a peace pipe and work it out.

Or maybe this kid can get a job at the casino.

You’d have to be brave to give her kid that type of grade.

Reverse the rolls. That teacher should teepee the kids house for Homecoming!

The kid's parents really didn't get along. Little mention of his mom at the funeral, no pics of her in the obituary, but a group shot including my youngest son and I. Ugh.

Unreasonable parents is a chief complaint I hear from teachers.
