It sounded like he didn't think Jenkins was in shape for the minicamp. He thought that Jenkins' toughness was an issue last year when he left a game after a few plays then came back to play the following week without having any issues noted on the injury list.

That's a good question. I think this is something the coaching staff or Poles wanted him to say, but he probably believes it, too. Incidentally, Olin has also expressed skepticism about Jenkins' toughness, basically calling him a bigmouth.

If you recall, I hated the pick last year. They should see if they can still spin him off for a 3rd-4th rounder at least...tell teams he doesn't fit a zone blocking scheme, that's all.

I don't think Poles likes Jenkins. He wanted athletes over size. Now Bears mouthpieces are going after him directly.

It will be interesting to see how the Bears start to attack Fields in preparation for their selection of a QB in the first round of the 2023 draft.
