Linda, Griffey's best days are well in the scrapbook. If it were up to me, Ken Jr. would not be back with the White Sox, and his #17 jersey would be worn by another Southsider in 2009...

Bagels, I have very little confidence in Vazquez, even if the White Sox win this series. He's that maddening! I think he's earning some $11 million this season. If he's back next season, the Sox should borrow a page from Comedy Central & Ben Stein and "Win Javy's Money".

The White Stocking took a brief 3 - 1 lead when D. Wise homered to right in the top half of the 3rd and the bottom half the Ray answered, capped off by E. Longoria's homerun in his 2nd career post-season at bat.

Anyone who would like to get rid of Vazquez and his "bloated" contract should take a little look at what the Cardinals did with a far worse pitcher this week.

Javy pitched some good games this season. But he is not helping the team right now, and I would not put him on the ALCS roster should the Sox get there.
