None whatsoever, but Oz will keep him out there until we're down 4 or 51

I'm willing to bet taht even Ozzie doesn't let Tampa get 51 on Vazquez.

If the White Sox lose this series, Javy Vazquez, his "good stuff", and his fat contract must go! Get him out of Chicago!

Well, Sheilds already has 60 some pitches thru 3.

Excellent strategy. Wait out the starters.

Linda, Griffey's best days are well in the scrapbook. If it were up to me, Ken Jr. would not be back with the White Sox, and his #17 jersey would be worn by another Southsider in 2009...

Why not just leave him in Tampa?

He could be Longoria's batting practice pitcher in next year's home run derby.

Bagels, I have very little confidence in Vazquez, even if the White Sox win this series. He's that maddening! :x I think he's earning some $11 million this season. If he's back next season, the Sox should borrow a page from Comedy Central & Ben Stein and "Win Javy's Money".

If your just joining us....

Tampa jumped out with a 1 - 0 lead with E. Longoria's homerun on his first career post-season at bat in the 2nd.

The White Stocking took a brief 3 - 1 lead when D. Wise homered to right in the top half of the 3rd and the bottom half the Ray answered, capped off by E. Longoria's homerun in his 2nd career post-season at bat.

And that's where we stand, 4 - 3 Ray, Top 5.

Anyone who would like to get rid of Vazquez and his "bloated" contract should take a little look at what the Cardinals did with a far worse pitcher this week.

and you keep Vazquez in there for as long as he keeps you in the game...one run down is still in the game.

Javy pitched some good games this season. But he is not helping the team right now, and I would not put him on the ALCS roster should the Sox get there.

Maybe the Trop needs that Verizon "can you hear me now?" guy. Apparently the bullpen phone isn't working down there at the Trop.

So Ozzie should wait until the next 2 run homer or double to take him out? There will be one.
