The Bears want to refinance the bonds on the original Soldier Field renovation. That cannot be allowed to happen. So long as that doesn't happen, building out transportation infrastructure in AH is a lot different for the state than moving existing Soldier Field 500 yards south at a cost of $7 billion.

I think there are so many more hurdles by the lake than Arlington Park. I've thought all along Warren was posturing about building a new stadium in Chicago.

Kevin Warren may have lucked into a great situation. He did everything he could to stay near the lake but it was impossible so the Bears have no choice to consider Arlington Heights and the school board will finally be realistic on the taxes.
